Insurance Policy: We insist on being added as additionally insured. While we have never had an issue, we do this to protect our customers in the event of catastrophic mechanical failure. We also recommend that the vessel be covered for boat tow insurance. This is relatively inexpensive for the added coverage, and could save thousands if mechanical issues arise. Boat US offers yearly policies from $24-$189.
